HOW DID YOU GET INTO YOUR SPECIFIC LINE OF WORK?
I started as a contractor installing low voltage cabling for large healthcare and commercial clients. When I realized professional golf wasn’t in my future, I started with a Telecommunications Integrator in Nashville in 1997. I’ve had several different positions and advanced into management, simultaneously earning certifications, including BICSI and PMI. The opportunity with Mazzetti allows me to apply my certifications and experience, aiding IT/Low Voltage System Design and Planning services.
WHAT EXCITES YOU MOST ABOUT YOUR LINE OF WORK?
Meeting new people, developing relationships, and managing their projects to successful completion.
HOW DID YOU DISCOVER MAZZETTI?
I have known about Mazzetti for years; I have even collaborated with Mazzetti-ites on a few projects, for which, Mazzetti was the consultant.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT, WORKING FOR MAZZETTI?
I have always wanted to join the consultant community and am very excited to get started with this team! The opportunity for growth, continuing to learn, and exposure to new technology in the healthcare sector is what drew me to this position. With my background in technical installations and project management, I am looking forward to helping create solutions with clients.
LIFE OUTSIDE OF WORK – FAMILY, HOBBIES, ETC.?
I enjoy spending time with my family, as much as possible, outside of the office. We prioritize (at least) annual family vacations in addition to a trip (or two) to Atlanta, since we are long-time Braves fans!
I also enjoy getting outdoors for some quality golfing and fishing (the time spent is quality, regardless of the outcomes!).
