We are excited to welcome Greg Liles to Mazzetti as our Director of Technology Consulting. With over 30 years of experience in the technology and design industry, Greg brings a wealth of expertise and passion for delivering exceptional results across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, data centers, corporate, science and technology, hospitality, and government.
Greg began his career in 1994, and his extensive experience spans the design, bidding, and build phases of numerous projects, with a focus on traditional design-bid-build methods, as well as IPD and IPD-lite projects.
What sets Greg apart is his deep understanding of project team dynamics. His experience as a part of the design team, within the Owner’s IT staff, and as an Owner’s Rep/Program Manager gives him a unique perspective that helps guide and motivate project teams toward success. His leadership fosters collaboration and ensures that teams meet their project goals efficiently and effectively.
A particularly notable project in Greg’s early career was his work on technology design for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). He was tasked with ensuring that labs with varying Biological Security Levels (BSL), including BSL-4, were airtight when pressurized. Greg and his team devised an innovative solution using outdoor-rated gel-filled cables and epoxy to seal the conduits, allowing the labs to be safely pressurized. This solution, which is still in use today over 20 years later, demonstrates Greg’s ability to tackle complex challenges with lasting results.
Greg is particularly excited by the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and to help others succeed. His problem-solving skills and commitment to excellence have been key drivers throughout his career. As a member of HIMSS and BICSI, Greg continues to contribute to the industry by providing valuable insights and expertise in every project he undertakes. We are thrilled to have him on board and look forward to his leadership and contributions at Mazzetti.
