Mazzetti’s Just Label: A Commitment to Social Justice and Equity

Mazzetti has proudly published its first Just label from the International Living Future Institute (ILFI). This achievement marks a significant milestone in Mazzetti’s ongoing commitment to social justice, equity, and overall transparency in reporting.

The Just label is a voluntary disclosure tool created by ILFI, designed to measure and promote social justice, equity, and overall employee experience within organizations. Unlike traditional certifications, the Just label focuses on transparency and accountability, providing a comprehensive picture.

Some of the factors measured include:

  • Gender and ethnic diversity
  • Pay scale equity
  • Healthcare benefits and family leave
  • Retirement provisions
  • Charitable donations and volunteering
  • Purchasing practices

Why did we pursue a Just label?

We are an employee-owned Benefit Corporation. We use the B Impact Assessment to annually measure our performance as a Benefit Corporation. The Just label assessment directly aligns with three of the five B Impact Areas – Governance, Workers, and Community. Not only does it align, it digs deeper into these respective areas.

The Just label commitments help us be a better Benefit Corporation.

 

We believe, fundamentally, this is relevant to our values and overall identity for our current and future employees. Through this assessment, we are more aware of those areas warranting improvement and will take appropriate steps. And, we are proud of our achievements thus far!
