Mazzetti Making Spirits Bright in Sacramento

Hannah Mobarekeh

Senior Associate, Senior Business Development Manager

Sacramento-New-OfficeOur Sacramento Office received a major facelift this holiday season! The office, which has been in operations for over 22 years, was admittedly, in need of a new inspired look that reflected our energetic and innovative team. After banning beige walls, the remodel began in late September, and will be completely finished the end of this month. With this renovated space, Mazzetti-ites in Sacramento can look forward to:

  • LED lighting fixtures to practice what we preach
  • Expansive windows– we take notes from our architect partners!
  • Punchy accent colors and modern furniture
  • Expanded amount of desks for future growth (with standing functions, of course!)
  • Flexible spaces with high counter tops for increased collaboration
  • Temporarily: A Christmas tree (presents pending on 2016 bonuses)

Our Sacramento office has managed large portfolio clients like Stanford and John Muir Health. Current stand-out projects include:

  • A single project spanning 38 Dignity campuses – This “Built Environment Improvement Program” is occurring in Dignity Health’s facilities throughout California, Nevada and Arizona. The multi-state program includes upgrading older finishes/fixtures, transitioning to LED lighting, adding in large display walls in building lobbies as well as charging stations, and other measures that will both modernize these facilities and create a unified corporate image.
  • A major remodel of Chinese Hospital
  • 92,000sf medical office building (MOB) and an ambulatory service center (ASC) for a John Muir/UCSF joint venture

The office, led by Sacramento native Tim Belke, consists of a small but mighty team of MEP designers and technology consultants. This group is fiercely committed to furthering project innovations to help owners think outside of the box and solve some of their most complex project challenges.

“It has been an incredible gift to be able to stay in Sacramento, a great place to raise a family, and yet work for one of the top engineering firms in the country,” says Principal Tim Belke, PE. “Our reputation allows us to attract the best talent in town, and so you couldn’t ask for a finer group than we have here.”

Our team is very excited to settle in to the new, flexible office space and considers it a great gift this holiday season! Stay tuned for Sacramento Open House details to follow…
