Mazzetti, an engineering firm known for its forward-looking solutions, today announced that Joseph Leger, RCDD will be joining the firm to lead its technology services. Leger brings to Mazzetti over 20 years of experience driving innovative technology projects in healthcare, higher education, government and corporate sectors.
“I’m thrilled to join Mazzetti. I’ve always been attracted to Mazzetti’s future-focused thinking and progressive company culture,” said Leger. “I look forward to working with our clients to implement low-voltage solutions that improve their communication, safety, mobility, information access and customer and patient satisfaction.”
A nationally recognized leader in the field, Leger’s nearly one hundred global healthcare projects have included UCLA Medical Center (Los Angeles, CA), Vancouver General Medical Hospital (Vancouver, BC), Sidra Research and Medical Center (Doha, Qatar), and The Children’s Hospital (Denver, Colorado). Other notable projects include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (Seattle, WA), Adidas Corporate Headquarters (Portland, OR) and University of Colorado (Boulder, CO).
Mazzetti Principal Jon Inman said, “Joe has a depth of expertise in the field that is really unmatched. On top of that, he shares Mazzetti’s values, goals and vision for the future. We are extremely excited to have him on the team.”
Leger will replace Christian Lindmark, who has been Mazzetti’s technology lead since 2010. Leger and Lindmark have a long history together, beginning with Leger hiring Lindmark at Sparling in the early 2000s. “I consider Joe my mentor,” said Lindmark. “We have been friends and colleagues for 14 years, and I can’t imagine a person more suited to drive the future of healthcare technology at Mazzetti.”
Lindmark will be embarking on a new chapter of his career as Senior Director of Real Estate Development, Facilities and IT at New York University’s Langone Medical Center. He is working with Mazzetti to seamlessly transition all project work to Leger and Senior Technology Consultant Brian Johnson, RCDD.
