Mazzetti celebrates Dick Moeller’s 40+ years of service in the mechanical engineering field, primarily focused on improving the healthcare built environment. Dick spent twenty years with CDi Engineers, before merging with Mazzetti in May 2014 and the last two years at Mazzetti, where he was a Principal in the Irvine, CA office. As of November 1, 2016, Dick concluded this chapter of his service, retiring from Mazzetti.
Dick has been and will continue to be an active member of ASHRAE, AHA, AIA, and ASHE. He is a nationally recognized thought leader in the area of healthcare mechanical systems, and regularly speaks, publishes, and teaches as an ASHE faculty member.
In recognition of Dick’s service to Mazzetti and the industry, Mazzetti is making a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in his honor.
What’s next for Dick?
He intends to continue his involvement in the healthcare design field. Dick shares in his own words, “Those who know me well, will not be surprised to hear that I am not officially retiring from my professional life. Rather, I’m changing my approach and plan to remain professionally engaged with my friends and colleagues in the healthcare industry and elsewhere, just in different ways. And I hope to spend a lot more time outdoors in all of the SoCal sunshine!”
