Though I began my career as a structural engineer, I quickly learned the art & necessity of pivoting! This has led me to opportunities to manage projects, clients, and building new business mostly in the exciting Life Sciences sector.
I’m proud to bring 20+ years of experience leading multi-disciplined teams for many high-profile clients in the Life Sciences industry including projects in R&D laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing, commercial buildings for life sciences clients, and campus infrastructure. I have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, with notable clients such as Genentech, Bayer, Eli Lilly, Johnson and Johnson, and Novartis. Additionally, I’m well versed in cGMP requirements and design and construction standards required for FDA compliance.

In my private time, I have a seemingly nonstop list of hobbies including road cycling, golf, gardening, and hiking. My wife and I love to travel particularly to try out wine regions we’ve not experienced before or visiting our two children.
Our son, a Cal Poly Construction Management graduate is working in Manhattan, and our daughter manages clinical drug trials for Scripps Hospital in San Diego. I have the extra joy of being able to “talk shop” with both my kids!
