Associate Principal, Senior Mechanical Designer
I bring more than 30 years of experience managing and designing mechanical systems on a wide range of project types, including healthcare (OSHPD), higher education, laboratory, commercial, retail, and computer facilities, from the master planning phase to construction. I especially excel at renovation of existing buildings, project management, construction administration, third party plan check and peer review.
I have particular expertise in managing the mechanical and electrical component replacement projects for higher education clients and serve as the prime consultant interacting with DSA, CSFM, and local authorities that have jurisdiction. I have experience as a Facilities Engineer at Stanford University, and was responsible for maintenance and operations technical support, and project management for one-fourth of the campus.
I embody our firmās values by being there for my clients from project conception through construction.
I also have experience as an Energy Management & Control System (EMCS) Engineer, also at Stanford University, and was responsible for managing and coordinating technicians in the implementation and programming of new and retro-fit projects for the campus wide central control system.
When Iām not working, I enjoy golfing, fishing, travel, visiting museums and attending family events.
I am a San Francisco Bay Area native, so I enjoy spending my off time with my family at local events and fixing up my home in San Francisco.
