I’m Jenna McClure, Aviation Team Lead and Senior Project Manager at Mazzetti. I have nearly 20 years of technical expertise and five years of project management experience across multiple sectors, with a specific focus on aviation facilities and infrastructure. I’ve become familiar with the complexities of this rapidly evolving industry and have successfully managed projects using various delivery methods, such as Bid/Spec, Progressive Design-Build, Design Assist, and Design Collaboration. I am known for my proactive communication approach that encourages problem-solving and collaborating closely with diverse teams.
One of my most notable projects is the SEA Airport South Concourse Evolution. Through renovations and new construction, this project focuses on restructuring and repurposing the existing seven-level, 350,000sf space to increase operational efficiency, meet code requirements, and enhance passenger experience. The project includes redeveloping the recently vacated Federal Inspection Services and U.S. Customs and Border Protection spaces into duty-free shopping, dining, and retail. Additionally, the project team will reconfigure the concourse level for more efficient circulation, expand the penthouse level for additional premium lounge space, and upgrade structural systems through the addition of new gate pods. As the project manager of a large team, I am ensuring that the highly schedule-driven project progresses in phases to maintain 24/7 operations during construction. The project is also closely aligned with the Port of Seattle’s diversity and inclusion goals.
Away from the world of engineering, you’ll often find me exploring the woods on sunny days with my husband and dog,or daydreaming about my next kayaking journey.
I’m an enthusiastic traveler and thrill-seeker – I once went skydiving in my twenties!
